Here are today’s announcements for Monday, April 24th, 2017:
• CONGRATULATIONS to everyone involved in the production of ANNIE this past week.  Thank you for all your hard work and making Casteel look good with your professionalism and talent!!  
• Join us Thursday, April 27 at 6 pm for Casteel’s Tri-University Night!   Representatives from ASU, NAU and U of A will each be presenting about admissions and other opportunities available to you!  Both students and parents are welcome.  See Mrs. O’Brien in the Career Center for more information.  
• Attention! ALL HS Track female athletes is a very important meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, at 7:15 am in Coach Clark Classroom C15. Please make sure to attend to this meeting. 
• Are you interested in auditioning for the Casteel Drumline? Workshops and clinics begin this Wednesday, after school, from 3 to 4:30PM in the band room. Don't miss out!"
• Attention 8th graders:   Formal tickets, “A night in Paris”, are on sale in the bookstore…last day to purchase tickets is Friday. 
• Don't miss out on your chance to join the Casteel Colorguard! Workshops and clinics every Tuesday after school until 4:30 in the band room. All experience levels welcome."
• Current and new NHS high school members. Please stop by A36 before or after school to receive information about Induction and Bylaws.
• ATTENTION:  The library will be closed for most of this week due to AZ Merit Testing.  The library will be open every morning at 6:30am until first hour begins.  
• All high school female spring sports athletes please report to the auxiliary gym today @ 10:30.
• 7/8 graders will continue testing tomorrow don’t forget headphones! 
• 9/10 graders will test Wednesday/Thursday be sure you bring headphones!
But you’re in luck headphones will be available for purchase in the bookstore for $5.00!!!

    Here are today’s announcements for Friday, April 21st, 2017:
     
    * The Colt Crew basketball team had their first ever Unified Sports VICTORY last night, beating San Tan Foothills high School 30-28. Annika Vanskiver and Elliott Jones played Awesome!! Congratulations to all the players for a GREAT performance!! You make COLTS PROUD!!!
     
    * In Casteel baseball news….Casteel pitcher CJ Glenn pitched 4 innings, Tanner Keeley 2 innings and “Closer” Tyler Moore combined to throw Casteel's 1st ever NO HITTER yesterday in colts 2-1 win over fountain hills! WAY TO GO COLTS!!
     
    * One Night Only- Come watch your favorite dancers in the dance concert, In Motion, TONIGHT, at 7pm, in the Casteel Gym! Tickets are $5 in the bookstore or at the door!
     
    * Attention 8th graders: Last day to purchase Sunsplash tickets is TODAY. You must turn in your permission slip and the receipt to your social studies teacher.

    * Jamba Juice will be here TODAY during lunch.

    Here are today’s announcements for Thursday, April 20th, 2017:
    • Congratulations to the following students: Megan Cann, Caiti Trimble, Anya Keller, Dan Galvin, Lauren Schneider, and Holly Deem. 240 pieces of art from around the district were submitted for this show. Only 100 were selected, and these 6 students will represent Casteel High School at the annual District Art Show being held at the Chandler Center for Performing Arts. Congratulations.
    • Casteel JV Softball finished their season last night with an overall record of 13 wins and 3 losses. Congratulations to all of the girls for an outstanding job this year. Coach Moore wants you to know how much he appreciates your hard work and effort. GO COLTS!
    • The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be holding their next huddle meeting today at lunchtime in room A40, all students are welcomed to attend.
