Around 30 students participated in the event as Chefs' assistance. They had the privilege to work alongside great Chefs as Beau Macmillan, Todd English, Robert Irvine, Francois de Melogue as well as 40 local chefs from around the Valley. Students made a great impression with every chef they worked with. He was invited to attend as the recipient of the FIRST Deans List Award at the Arizona West Regional earlier in April. She made the Regionals and placed 2nd in the All Around, receiving her highest scores and her personal best on all 4 events. Torri placed 1st at Regionals on beam with a score of 9.650! Several students showed their chickens, and Mathew Schmidt's rooster sold at auction for $250. Students did fantastic at the showmanship portion of the fair, which included how to handle chickens to demonstrating in-depth knowledge about chickens.
