Full-time enrollment for the 1st semester has closed. Applications are now open to start in January.

Steps to enroll as a Full-Time Student with COA

  1. Carefully review the enrollment information and policies for the Full-Time Program on the "Full-Time Enrollment with Chandler Online Academy" page on our website to be sure the student will be able to meet weekly attendance and progress requirements.

  2. CUSD students must first withdraw from the previous CUSD school, complete the Enroll Full-Time form(below), and submit a current proof of residency. Non-CUSD students must first withdraw from the previous school, complete the Enroll Full-Time form below and you will receive a follow-up email will all required documents needed to complete the enrollment.

  3. Submit all required documents: Scan, or Email to:  guerrero.patricia@cusd80.com 

  4. Receive the enrollment confirmation email with the day/time you can expect the Welcome Orientation conference call.

  5. Both the student and the parent/guardian must participate in the Welcome Orientation conference call before enrollment will be complete. The student, parent/guardian, and Guidance Counselor will create a course schedule during the Welcome Orientation.

  6. Once the Welcome Orientation is complete, the courses will start within 1 business day.

  7. Find the "Target End Date" to the right of each online course under "My Courses" upon logging in for the first time so you know when the course must be completed.  Watch for assignments as they become due and appear on the "Due Soon List" on the left side of the screen and monitor your grade and progress on the "Grades" page for each class.   You must submit all assignments when they are due and complete all assignments and assessments AND YOUR FINAL EXAM by the "Target End Date."

Concurrent Student Enrollment 
Enrollment for the 1st semester has closed. Applications are now open to start in January.
 
 Junior high and high school students scheduled to attend a CUSD school for less than a full schedule (less than 6 classes) may also enroll concurrently with Chandler Online Academy to take the remaining classes online, for a total of 6 classes combined. Students needing to re-take a class for credit recovery (to replace a failing grade) or grade replacement (to improve a grade) will need to complete part-time enrollment and pay $160 for each 0.5 class.   ***Proof of residency documentation must be provided to our office before enrollment will be complete.

Steps to enroll as a Concurrent student with Chandler Online Academy 

  1. To apply for Concurrent Enrollment with COA, students are required to meet with their assigned Guidance Counselor at the brick & mortar school first. This meeting is to determine whether a schedule that includes a combination of classes at the brick & mortar and COA online courses would be an appropriate solution to achieve the student's academic goals and an effective learning setting for the student. 

  2. Review the Concurrent Enrollment description, requirements, and policies on the "Part-Time/Concurrent Online Enrollment" page on our website to be sure the student will be able to meet all program progress and attendance requirements.

  3. Click the link below to complete the form for concurrent enrollment.  Students applying for concurrent enrollment will be required to provide the name of their school counselor and submit proof of residency documentation to our office.  COA must receive proof of residency documentation and verify concurrent enrollment approval with the counselor before concurrent enrollment will be complete. Submit all required documents: Scan or Email:  Guerrero.patricia@cusd80.com 

  4. Check email daily to look for the Welcome Email that will contain the link and username/password to log in to the online classroom. The day you receive this email is the official first day of your 9-week* course session. ALL COURSES WILL HAVE A START DATE of the Tuesday after the enrollment is received.

  5. You must log in within 2 days of receiving the Welcome Email and begin submitting all assignments according to the due dates on the Due Soon List.  Log in and start learning!

  6. Find the "Target End Date" to the right of each online course under "My Courses" upon logging in for the first time so you know when the course must be completed.  Watch for assignments as they become due and appear on the "Due Soon List" on the left side of the screen and monitor your grade and progress on the "Grades" page for each class.  You must submit all assignments when they are due and complete all assignments and assessments AND YOUR FINAL EXAM by the "Target End Date."  Concurrent student who start an online class within the first 9 weeks of each semester will have a "Target End Date" in early December (in the Fall) or in early May (in the Spring).  Those who start an online class after Fall Break but before Winter Break will have 9 weeks to complete each online class.  See the "Part-Time/Concurrent Online Enrollment" page for more information on schedules for Concurrent Enrollment.

Part-Time Enrollment 
 
The fee for part-time enrollment in each 0.5 credit online class with COA is $160.00. Students can take no more than 2 classes at a time. *AP classes are only available for part-time enrollment for students needing credit recovery (students who previously took the AP class but did not earn a passing grade)  ***Proof of residency documentation must be provided to our office before enrollment will be complete.

Part-time enrollment is appropriate for

  • CUSD Students:  Enrolled in a full schedule (6 classes) at a CUSD school or who need to take an online class for credit recovery (replacement of a failing grade) or grade replacement (replacement of a lower grade)

  • Non-CUSD Students:  Students are enrolled in a school that is not part of Chandler Unified School District (CUSD)

Payment is made through the Infinite Campus Portal

  • CUSD students: You should already have an Infinite Campus account, please click on the link and follow the directions below. If you don’t know how to log in to your portal account or you cannot remember your password, please call your child’s school. Each school has a portal manager that can assist with creating and/or logging in to an account.
  • Non-CUSD Students:  If your child attends a school that is not part of CUSD and you do not already have an Infinite Campus account, you will receive an email from “campusnoreply” with an activation key and instructions to establish an account in Infinite Campus. 
Steps to enroll as a Part-Time student with Chandler Online Academy 
  1. Meet with the guidance counselor at your home school to decide which Chandler Online Academy online course/s you will enroll in. Part-time students taking a course with a prerequisite requirement must provide transcripts in order to complete enrollment.

  2. Review the Part-Time Enrollment description, requirements, and policies on the "Part-Time/Concurrent Online Enrollment" page on our website to be sure the student will be able to meet all program progress and attendance requirements.

  3. Complete the enrollment application for part-time enrollment by clicking the link below and submit your proof of residency documentation to our office.  Submit all required documents: Scan or Email:  Guerrero.patricia@cusd80.com .  Be sure to provide accurate contact information and carefully choose the correct class and semester. 

  4. After you submit the enrollment form, you will receive an email within 2 business days containing instructions to pay  online through Infinite Campus. 

  5. Receive the email with instructions for making payment within 2 business days.  Follow the instructions to log in to Infinite Campus and pay to complete registration.

  6. Receive the Welcome Email containing the link to log in and a username/password to access the online classroom within 2 business days. The day you receive this email is the official first day of your 9-week* course session. ALL COURSES WILL HAVE A START DATE of the Tuesday after the enrollment is received.

Enrollment for the 1st semester has closed. Applications completed now will be for classes starting in January. All payments made by noon on 12/21 will have classes ready to start on January 10th. All payments made after noon on 12/21 classes will start January 17th.
