Junior Luke Fink also won the FIRST Dean's List Finalist Award (received only by 2 students at each competition) and will meet finalists from around the world in Houston, Texas. Ten finalists will be announced as worldwide winners. Torri competed in the Arizona State Championships, placing 4th in the All Around. She made the Regionals and placed 2nd in the All Around, receiving her highest scores and her personal best on all 4 events. Torri placed 1st at Regionals on beam with a score of 9.650! Several students showed their chickens, and Mathew Schmidt's rooster sold at auction for $250. Students did fantastic at the showmanship portion of the fair, which included how to handle chickens to demonstrating in-depth knowledge about chickens.
