About the CTA Liberty Spanish Dual Language Immersion Program

Parent Information

We will be hosting Parent Information Meetings on the Spanish Dual Language Immersion program for families of kindergarten students who are interested in the Spanish DLI first grade program for the 2017-18 school year.    Attendance at one of these information nights as well as prior completion of the Dual Language Immersion Interest Form are required steps in the enrollment process before an Open Enrollment application can be accepted.  We will be announcing the dates and times of those Parent Information Meetings soon.  We will also be hosting tours of our campus with an accompanying presentation of the CTA program as well as the Spanish Dual Language Immersion program for families interested in the 2017-18 kindergarten program for their children.  The dates of these tours are Wednesday, November 9th, Thursday, November 17th, Tuesday, November 22nd, and Tuesday, November 29th.  All tours begin at 8:30 am and last about 90 minutes.  We ask parents not to bring younger children because we visit classrooms during the tour process.

For the 2016-17 school year, we are providing a Spanish World Language Program for all kindergarten children at CTA- Liberty. Kindergarten students will receive 15 minutes of Spanish language instruction on a daily basis. Through the CTA-Liberty Spanish World Language Program, the kindergartners will be introduced to the Spanish language at appropriate developmental levels. The Spanish Dual Language Immersion Program will continue at first and second grade during the 2016-17 year as well.
